MLB Training
I provide interpersonal communication and conflict transformation training focusing on encouraging and enabling positive conversations and developing stronger relationships between diverse people. In this training you will get a better understanding of interpersonal communication and conflict, you will become familiar with key tools and techniques and you will reflect on and improve your interpersonal skills. All training is carefully adapted to your needs and contexts and provided in a space where you can safely deepen your understanding and practise techniques and skills.
If you want more information about the training, I currently offer to organisations and companies please see: Training in Organisations and Companies and to primary and secondary schools and colleges please see: Training in Schools and Colleges
I also offer training on violent conflict, peacebuilding and migration theories, approaches and practices. In these sessions you can get a better understanding of how factors such as poverty, inequality, identity, environment and religion affect people’s engagement in violent conflict. In addition, you can also get a better grasp of how relationships between individuals and communities can be developed and how institutions, policies and processes can be transformed in support of more equitable and peaceful societies. Finally, you can also learn about how conflict and peacebuilding impact the migration journey. All training provides examples of how theory links to practice.
Each training session:
- Is carefully designed to suit the needs of participants and thoroughly informed by their context and lived experiences.
- Is fun, interactive and engaging and taught in ways that make everyone feels welcome and valued.
- Focuses on teaching approaches and building skills that are easily applicable in everyday situations.

MLB Consultancy
My support is generally based on how conflict, peacebuilding, migration and integration theories can inform people and community centred strategies, policies, processes, projects and practices. I use participatory approaches to develop projects that use mixed methods to amplify the voices of the people and communities that are affected by the issues. This provides unique in-depth insights into how your existing strategies, policies, processes, projects and practices currently work and how they can be improved. My approach is trauma-informed and intentionally and radically inclusive. In addition to reports and presentations of my findings and recommendations, I also help you incorporate and implement them.
Each project:
- Uses participatory processes to ensure that the project is relevant, impactful and sustainable and carefully based on the needs of stakeholders.
- Embeds critical lenses in all aspects of the design- and implementation processes and practices.
- Ensures that findings and recommendations are easy to understand and apply.
